Anyone can claim that a house is energy efficient, but an EnerGuide rating label for your home will prove how efficient it is with a third party verification process performed by a certified Energy Advisor under Natural Resources Canada. Only fully-trained and certified Energy Advisors are qualified to conduct energy audits. Special tools, equipment and computer modeling software are used to assess building geometry, components, insulation levels, air leakage and the effectiveness of your heating and cooling equipment. The home is then given an home energy rating, and the results are given to you in a way that you can easily understand.

Become Energy Literate - Understand how much energy your home consumes, pinpoint the exact areas where energy is being wasted. This helps you make the best energy efficiency choices to save on utility costs and improve the comfort of your home.
Making Informed Decisions - An EnerGuide evaluation can assist in making informed decisions when operating, renovating or purchasing a home.
Increased Resale Value - An EnerGuide label is an official record of your home’s energy performance and may help increase its resale value. If you’re thinking of selling your home, it might be the perfect time to get an EnerGuide evaluation. Home sellers pro-actively obtain EnerGuide ratings for their homes and display the rating online.
Independent Third Party Evaluation - All Energy Adviser's that deliver the EnerGuide Rating System work within a strict code of ethics backed by the government of Canada. This ensures that every home is inspected and assessed through a third party verification process.
