No, there is no longer rebates available on code minimum Step 3 projects in 2024.
If your project was pre-registered under the 2023 rebate program you can receive the previous $4,800 for Step 3, $6,800 for Step 4 and $10,800 for Step 5; however, if you meet the qualifications for Steps 4 or 5 under the 2024 New Home Program you can receive the enhanced rebates instead.
No, all tested space and domestic hot water heating need to be over 100% efficient. Refer to the mechanical requirements below or reach out to us with questions.
Eligible rebate amounts are per dwelling unit, If you were building an eligible duplex to Step 4 performance, you would receive a minimum of $31,600 ($15,800 per unit) in rebates.
These can be done by another mechanical designer or your Energy Advisor.
